Warranty FAQ
How long is the warranty on your carbon wheelsets?
We offer a 2-year warranty on our carbon wheelsets from the date of delivery. The warranty covers defects related to the wheel rim itself, including manufacturing or material issues that affect the wheel’s normal use.
What rim issues are covered by the warranty?
We generally handle rim-related warranty claims in two ways:
- Free repair: Minor issues that do not affect the structural integrity of the rim, such as paint chipping, cosmetic scratches, or small finish damage.
- Replacement: Structural rim problems, including carbon layer cracking, cracked spoke holes, rim breakage, or other defects that compromise the safety or usability of the wheel.
If the issue qualifies as a structural defect, we will replace the affected rim or wheelset according to our warranty process.
Are crash damage or impact damage covered?
No. Damage caused by accidents, crashes, hitting a curb, riding into potholes, or other severe impacts is not covered under our warranty.
Carbon rims are strong, but they are not indestructible. A hard impact can damage the rim even if there is no visible crack at first. If you are unsure whether an issue is a manufacturing defect or impact damage, please contact us with clear photos and a short description of what happened.
Who pays for return shipping?
Shipping costs depend on when the issue is reported and what caused it:
| Situation | Shipping cost |
|---|---|
| Wrong item shipped due to our error | We cover the shipping cost |
| Quality issue reported within 6 months | We cover the shipping cost |
| Quality issue reported between 6 and 12 months | Shipping cost is shared equally by both sides |
| Quality issue reported after 12 months | Customer covers the shipping cost |
What should I do if I think my wheel has a warranty issue?
Please contact our support team with:
- Your order number
- Photos or video of the issue
- A brief description of when the problem appeared
- Details of how the wheel was used, if relevant
Once we review the information, we will confirm whether the issue is covered and recommend the appropriate solution: repair, replacement, or another arrangement.
Does the warranty cover normal wear and tear?
Normal wear from riding—such as minor cosmetic marks, brake-track wear on rim-brake wheels, bearing wear over time, spoke tension changes, or consumable parts—is not considered a manufacturing defect. These items may require maintenance or replacement over time, but they are not automatically covered by the rim warranty.
Can I still make a warranty claim if I installed the wheels myself?
Yes. Self-installation does not void the warranty as long as the wheels were installed correctly and used according to the recommended specifications. Please make sure the hub, axle standard, freehub body, rotor, cassette, tires, and tire pressure are compatible with the wheelset.
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover:
- Crash, collision, or impact damage
- Damage from hitting curbs, potholes, rocks, or other road hazards
- Improper installation or incorrect use
- Damage caused by exceeding recommended tire pressure or rider weight limits
- Normal wear, cosmetic aging, or consumable components
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Damage caused by improper transport or storage
How long does a warranty claim take?
We aim to review warranty requests as quickly as possible. After we receive the required photos, video, and order details, we will assess the issue and let you know the next steps. Repair or replacement times can vary depending on the specific issue and whether parts need to be shipped.
