Welcome to xdru.com.
We publish practical, well-researched content for cyclists, wheel builders, bike mechanics, and cycling enthusiasts. Our focus is on bicycles, wheelsets, hubs, components, maintenance, riding techniques, and real-world cycling experience.
If you have genuine expertise, hands-on experience, or well-supported insights, we’d love to hear from you.
What We Publish
We accept original articles on topics including:
- Road, gravel, mountain, and commuter cycling
- Carbon fiber wheelsets, rims, spokes, and wheel building
- Hubs, freehubs, ratchet systems, bearings, and drivetrains
- Bike maintenance, repair, tuning, and troubleshooting
- Equipment comparisons, buying guides, and product testing
- Training, riding techniques, routes, and cycling travel
- Industry insights, technology explainers, and data-driven analysis
We especially value articles based on testing, technical knowledge, firsthand riding experience, or clearly sourced data.
What We Do Not Accept
We do not accept:
- Pure advertising or promotional articles
- Low-quality AI-generated content
- Plagiarized, spun, duplicated, or previously published content
- Non-cycling topics
- Overly promotional product reviews
- Articles written only for backlinks
- Unverified claims, fake data, or misleading information
Content Requirements
- Originality: 100% original and unpublished elsewhere, including your own website.
- Word count: 2,500–3,000 words, depending on topic depth.
- Structure: Clear introduction, informative subheadings, short paragraphs, and a practical conclusion.
- Accuracy: All specifications, measurements, compatibility details, and technical claims must be accurate and verifiable.
- Sources: Cite credible sources where appropriate, such as manufacturer specifications, test data, standards, studies, or firsthand measurements.
- Images: Include original or properly licensed, highly relevant images. We prefer rich visual content—product close-ups, wheel-building processes, component details, test setups, maintenance steps, or real riding photos. Do not submit copyrighted images without permission.
- Reader value: Your article should help readers solve a problem, make a better purchase decision, or understand the topic more deeply.
Link Policy
We allow one dofollow link per accepted article.
The link must be:
- Relevant to the article topic
- Naturally placed within the content
- Pointing to a useful, credible, non-spammy page
- Not promotional or keyword-stuffed
We may remove links or convert them to nofollow if they do not meet our editorial standards. Additional links may be approved only if they genuinely support the article.
